ContactGrabber

With ContactGrabber ibs-quadrat GmbH offers a solution to extract adresses from emails, websites or other texts und to export these adresses in structured form to CRM-Systems or Outlook.

How it works:

  1. The user marks a text with mouse or cursor and copies this text with CTRL-C to the clipboard. Alternatively one can use a Hotkey-Shortcut or the Capture-Mode.
  2. ContactGrabber comes up and analyses the content of the clipboard. ContactGrabber extracts automatically information about name, street, city, town, website, communication data and other.
  3. Now the user chooses a target system from the list, e.g. Outlook, and ContactGrabber exports the address to the selected system.

Which target system you would like to have you can setup in preferences

  1. Under preferences you activate your target system and setup some data in case you are using a proxy for server connection.
  2. You can choose your target system within the list. On first start there are no destinations activated, you can activate them under preferences.
  3. By clicking the export button ContactGrabber connects to target system and exports the contact.
  4. In this field are the raw data. If you want to you can edit and modify this data
  5. ContactGrabber analyses the raw data and identifies general data, address and communication data.
  6. Sometimes there are several information in one row of raw data, e.g. phon and fax data in one line. Often there is a "separator" between these data. You can choose such a "separator" from the selectbox or you can enter a "separator" into the selectbox. After selecting or editing a separator ContactGrabber resorts and reanalyses the raw data.
  7. The option "flat table" reorder table data
