Translator is an eclipse plugin for Altavista's Babelfish service. Since this is an online service you need to be connected to the internet when using it.

Installation eclipse 3.4

• copy new version in eclipse dropins folder and start with "eclipse -clean"
• You can find the plugin under Window->Show View->Translator->Translator

Installation pre eclipse 3.4

• remove old version (if any) in eclipse plugin directory
• copy new version in eclipse plugin directory, e.g. /eclipse/plugin/, and start eclipse
• You can find the plugin under Window->Show View->Translator->Translator
